I'm originally from Huntington Beach, California; I have two older brothers, an older sister, two nephews and a niece. Without the support of my family and friends, I wouldn't be where I am today. I participated in sports from a young age, I first was exposed to sports by attending Dodger games with my family, playing street hockey with kids from my neighborhood and hitting whiffle balls in the driveway of my house with my brothers. I learned how to ski when I was just 4 years old, I played soccer & tennis; participated in gymnastics, dance and cheerleading. In my junior year of high school, I made the decision to play for my school's lacrosse team, it was a fairly new program at the time so, I decided to give it a chance. Little did I know that decision forever changed my life. I was presented with the opportunity to play NCAA Lacrosse, participate in an International Tournament in Japan representing the United States, had the privilege to be the Head Coach of the inaugural girls' high school lacrosse team at San Marcos in Santa Barbara, CA. My favorite sports to watch are baseball, ice hockey and lacrosse. I graduated in May 2017, with a B.A. in Communication from the College of Integrative Arts and Sciences, with a minor in Media Analysis with a Law & Community Advocacy Concentration from Arizona State University. While obtaining my master's degree, I worked with the Arizona State University Women's Lacrosse team as their Student Manager during their inaugural fall season of NCAA competition. In the following semester, I was an Operations Intern at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick; the Spring Training Facility for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. During my off days from Salt River Fields, I would help with the Arizona Coyotes with coaching the Little Howlers Program, the program was a weekend program where 6-9 year old's would learn to skate and play the game of hockey. I completed all of my school and internship credit hours within two semesters. After graduation, I returned to Salt River Fields as the Ticket Office Assistant, where I was in charge of managing schedules of employees, daily bank reports and assisted with all four box offices. I will be soon start another internship with the Idaho Falls Chukars, the Rookie Affiliate with the Kansas City Royals in their Operations department. I cannot wait to start and see the knowledge I can learn while being in a state that I hold near and dear to my heart.
